While some companies have missions, we have a philosophy. Every day, we’re committed to creating an environment where we accommodate each individual in need of services and create an open environment in which a person can seek fulfillment in the area they desire.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS)
ACE works in partnership with VRS. Our process for supporting our service recipients with VRS begins with getting to know the individual. We work to identify key themes in their life so we can learn more about their skills, interests and ideal conditions for employment.
Next, we pair them with a suitable job coach who assists in building a resume and securing competitive, integrated employment/customized employment tailored to their skills and abilities. Once they are matched with a job, the job coach can continue to support them at their workspace even after VRS services have concluded.
Additional ACE services
Employment Exploration Whether it’s volunteering, work experience opportunities, etc., we explore the idea of finding employment by building basic, necessary skills for sustaining employment and utilizing abilities the person already has in new settings.
Employment Development Before beginning the search for employment, we spend time learning and developing skills, interests, and abilities for career opportunities.
Employment Supports Through a customized support plan (reviewed every six months), job coaches provide service recipients with support however needed, including work transportation and shift support.
In Home Support Services (IHS) To help people integrate into their community, we offer IHS services that teach daily living skills and practices, promoting independence and self-reliance.
Day Support Services We offer opportunities to engage in relaxed, enjoyable, and healthy activities outside the home.
Looking Ahead
For those who have worked with ACE or received our services in the past, you may be wondering why our offices are no longer located in Downtown Duluth. As of summer 2023, we’ve been excited to operate out of our new office at 4413 Venture Ave, Duluth, MN 55811. This move has tripled our square footage, providing a more relaxed, fun, and professional environment for our service recipients and community support teams. The new space features two conference rooms, multiple office spaces for our management team, a welcoming lobby area, and a kitchen.
We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new location with an open house! Join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 22nd from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be live music, mingling, and food available for purchase from a local food vendor. Come support ACE and celebrate with us!
